DU-001: 1960's DUGENA Automatic Skin Diver Watertrip w/ LIP 2525/2 Movement
Very cool 1960's DUGENA Watertrip automatic diver watch in excellent used condition The LIP Durowe cal 7525/2 movement is running strong & keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day. The original dial is adorned with "DUGENA | AUTOMATIC | Watertrip ". The chromium plating has worn off the unmarked winding crown - not sure if it is original or not. The back of the stainless steel case is marked: "ALL STAINLESS STEEL | ANTIMAGNETIC | 100% WATERPROOF TESTED 20 ATMOSPHERES" The inside back of the case is unmarked. The automatic movement is marked: "DUROMAT TWENTYFIVE 25 JEWELS | DUGENA 2123" as well as the appropriate markings to identify it as a LIP Durowe 7525/2 automatic movement. This is a great 60's dive watch ready to go for another lifetime.
Please Note: While this watch was waterproof rated when originally produced, gaskets and seals wear out over time. Consequently, we do not guarantee that this watch retains its original waterproof rating. It would be best to have a watchmaker check all the gaskets and seals before subjecting it to water or high humidity conditions.
