This is a very rare Girard-Perrageaux 2 Register Chronograph made in commemoration of the 1976 Montreal Olympics. The production quantity was limited to 1,000. This beauty is powered by the prized Valjoux 23 chronograph movement in very good original condition The dial bears the following markings: "GIRARD-PERREGAUX | Olimpico | AVIATOR | SWISS MADE". The rear of the case contains the reference number "9245 FA" as well as the markings: "ALL STAINLESS STEEL | WATERPROOF | SHOCK RESISTANT". The inside of the case back reads: "STAINLESS STEEL | GIRARD-PERRAGAUX 1791 | SWISS". The Valjoux 23 movement is marked: "GIRARD PERRAGAUX | SWISS | 240182". The movement also bears the correct markings to identify the movement as a Valjoux 23 movement. This is a really great very collectable, very rare watch ready to go for another life time.
