Very collectible and rare C. 1950's HARPER Manual Wind Watch w/ the original dial in good condition. The original black dial with raised gold markers is in very good condition showing just the right amount of age. The writing on the dial reads: HARPER | PROGRESS | 17 JEWELS | UNBREAKABLE MAINSPRING | ANTIMAGNETIC | INCABLOC | SWISS". Markings on the back of the case read: "WATER RESISTANT | ANTIMAGNETIC | ALL STAINLESS STEEL". The inside of the case back reads: "WMR WATCH CASE CO". The movement is marked with: "HARPER WATCH CO | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | HYW" and the appropriate markings to indicate the movement to be an AS Schilds cal 1187 movement. This is a very nice watch in good condition, keeping accurate time within 1-2 minutes per day & ready to wear for another lifetime.
