TI-016: 1970's TISSOT Visodate Automatic Sea Star cal 784-2 Movement
This is a very cool 1970's TISSOT Visodate Automatic Sea Star PR 516 Watch in very good original condition with a Tissot cal 784-2 automatic movement. The original dial bears the following markings below the Tissot logo at the 12:00 position: "TISSOT | VISODATE | AUTOMATIC | SEA STAR | PR 516 | SWISS MADE". The rear of the case is unmarked. The inside of the case is marked: "CHs TISSOT & FILS | FAB SUISSE | SWISS MADE | ACIER | INOXYDABLE" and includes the reference number "44554-6X". The TISSOT cal 784-2 - 21 jewel movement is marked: "CHs TISSOT & FILS | TWENTYONE 21 JEWELS | SWISS | UNADJUSTED" and the correct markings to identify the movement as a TISSOT 784-2movement. The movement serial number is also marked as "10511549" This is a very nice 1970's Diver Watch, in great condition, keeping accurate time and a great addition to any diver watch collection.
