Very classy 1950's 18 k solid gold Universal Polerouter Deluxe dress watch w/ Universal's famed cal 215 Microtor Automatic in excellent condition. The black dial looks so good I can't tell if it has been redone. Either way, it shows beautifully. The dial face reads: " UNIVERSAL | GENEVE | POLEROUTER | DE LUXE | AUTOMATIC | MICROTOR | SWISS MADE". Markings on the back of the screw down case display the serial number "1844862" and the reference number "10357 3". The inside of the case back reads: "UNIVERSAL | GENEVE | SWISS | 18K | 0.750". The markings on the movement read: "UNIVERSAL GENEVE | 215 | SWISS | MICROTOR |28 TWENTY-EIGHT JEWELS | PATENED RIGHTS PENDING". The UNIVERSAL movement calibre is 215. This is a very nice watch, in great condition & ready to for another lifetime of enjoyment.
