VU-001: Very Rare 1960's Vulcain Nautique Automatic Divers Watch w/ ETA 2452 Movement
This is a very cool and very rare Vulcain Nautique diver watch in good original condition dating from the 1960's. The ETA 2452 17 jewel movement in this watch is running strong & keeping excellent time. The original dial with touched up luminance on the numbers & batons is marked with "VULCAIN | NAUTIQUE | AUTOMATIC | SWISS MADE". The back of the case is marked with " SHOCK RESISTANT | ANTIMAGNETIC | STAINLESS STEEL CASE | BASE METAL INDICATOR | 100% WATERPROOF AND CONDENSATION PROOF TESTED TO A DEPTH OF 600 FT". The inside of the case is marked: "W.M.R. WATCH CASE | MADE IN HONG KONG" This is the same stainless steel case Vulcain frequently used in many of their 60's diver watches. The movement is marked: "VULCAIN WATCH CO. | SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS | UNADJUSTED SWISS | MSR". The rotating divers bezel works correctly & the watch keeps excellent time. This watch comes with an unused leather band.
